I am also in the middle of the greatly hyped World War Z by Max Brooks, I need to go back and read The Zombie Survival Guide after this one. He also has a new one coming out latter this year.
Once those two are complete and possible the books following those that I mentioned. I will be starting of on a epic adventure from what one fellow fantasy reader has told me is quite the unsung story of Fantasy as of late. Winterberth by Brian Ruckley looks to be quite promising. 'The first volume of the Godless World trilogy. An uneasy truce exists between the thanes of the True Bloods. Now, as another winter approaches, the armies of the Black Road march south, from their exile beyond the Vale of Stones. Soon, all will fall under the shadow that is descending.' He has written another book in the series and another one comes out later this year.

Books I am Looking forward to this year
Patient Zero
Its about terrorist developing a plan to turn our dead into the walking undead.

Zombie Survival Guide: Recorded Attacks
More accounts of the zombie war.

Offspring by Jack Ketchum
I owned this book once, something happened to it. The wife left it in the car and the sun melted the glue that held the bind together or something and it got tossed out. I was 3/4 through it when this happened. So now I am going to find another couple and finish this damn thing. As well as my other few Jack Ketchum books I have lying around.

Books I recommend for anyone this year to read
Offseason by Jack Ketchum
one of my new all time favorites. This book is brutal and a great read! He wrote this book back in the 70s I believe and got a lot of shit for writing it. But it was amazing!! If you can stomach it, read it!

I believe that is all for now. Hope you guys will get some good reading out of what I listed. I know I will!
where is the science fiction? I am currently reading Hitch Hickers Guide to the Galaxy (all five books in a single edition). I will have a review when I'm done. Keep reading.
