Boy am I tired...

For the last four years I have lived in a Two Bedroom apartment in Delaware. Where all of my yard work is nicely done by a group of guys and I don't have to worry about. There is an upside of this and a down. The up, I haven't had to do yard work for the last four years. The down, I have desperately missed it, I use to enjoy going to my Pop-pop's house and helping him with his yard work. Well now that we are living with Diana's mom, I get to enjoy my Yard Work again and today was my Welcome Back Party.

First, we had to rip out the tarp from a no longer treat, complete disgusting, pond that was dug in the middle circle of their driveway. The Driveway makes a big circle in the front yard with right in the center an inner circle of grass and bushes and this pond. So we rip the tarp out and remove all the rocks from with the hole that were holding the tarp down. Then we begin to shovel in the dirty, but thankfully after 45 minute of trying to fill this hole. A buddy of my brother in law's calls and says he will bring his tractor down. So after digging up a Japanese Maple and a Rose Bush, the tractor has at it and makes do, with what was taking us forever, in two minutes. We already replanted the Japanese Maple and now tomorrow we must put fill dirt in the center, level it out, and planet a beautiful Sugar Maple in the middle. She then wants to put little white pea stones in the middle to fill it out....

I don't agree with the last part but hey it isn't my house, so I will go along with what is said.

A bunch of this and a little of that...

So I seem to post a blog whenever the time feels right and I suppose that time is now. As I type this sitting in the second story of my Mother in Laws house. With the death of my wife's father and the lose of my job, we decided to not go on with purchasing and building the townhouse in North East, MD and move in with her mother. To at least help out with her mom and help ourselves out.

In doing so we put ourselves in the school district of a school that offers full time Preschool for my soon to be 4 yr old son. We will be going to get the paper work on Tuesday to see if we can get him approved. I have been putting applications in like a wild man but to no avail received any sign of interest from anyone, it is killing me. I love being home with the kids but hate not working. There is a company in Newark, DE that is basically the same exact thing I was doing at Andersen and believe I should hear something back from them soon. Or at least hope.

Some fun times are over the horizon although the job search is bleak. Easter is tomorrow which is always a fun time in my families household. The kids running around finding eggs, then the big kids running around finding eggs. LOL. I will be gone the weekend of April 24 - 26, heading to Fayettesville, WVA for my third trip white water rafting down the New River. Then in June is the annual trip to Philly for Wizard World Philadelphia. Hopefully will have a job by then for some more extra mullah to spend at the show.

Till next time...
